In our NLP training, we came across this concept you mention, that if your message was misunderstood, it was because you hadn&#039;t clearly expressed it, not that the other person was wilfully misunderstanding you, although perceptual filters play a part. But unambiguous,&#039;clean&#039; language and using the preferred &#039;language style&#039; (.e.g. visual, etc.) of the person with whom you&#039;re communicating all helps.
Will keep an eye on this useful site.
